Supreme’s Classic Fried Chicken

Classic fried chicken is something simple in natural flavours without too many dominating flavours. Classic fried chicken is one of the most popular flavours in fried chicken. Buttermilk and spices are used for the base of the marinade, adding depth and umami to the chicken. It is best to marinate overnight; buttermilk is also good for the breading before frying.

Ingredients

Marinade for 1 chicken cut into 12 pieces
- Buttermilk 300g
- Garlic powder 1 tsp or 1 garlic clove minced
- Onion powder 1/2 tablespoon
- Whole spice 1/2 tablespoon
- Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp

Flour Breading Mix
- Corn Flour 130g
- Quality Strong Self Raising Flour 70g
- Whole Spice 2 tsp
- Table Salt 1 tsp
